Join us for a fun and educational class featuring a tasting of wines from around the world with our resident certified wine expert, Les Dupuy. In this class, you will improve your ability to identify and accurately describe the key attributes of classic grape varieties and wine styles from around the world. Along the way, we will discuss how things such as grape variety, climate and winemaking techniques influence the flavor and style of different wines.
About the instructor
Les Dupuy has studied wine extensively and has a broad knowledge of the wines and wine regions of the world. He is currently a candidate for the Wine and Spirits Education Trust Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits. In addition, he holds the following wine certifications:
- WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits, Wine and Spirit Education Trust
- Certified Specialist of Wine, Society of Wine Educators
- French Wine Scholar, Wine Scholar Guild
- Introductory Sommelier Course and Examination, Court of Master Sommeliers
