WineMaker Magazine named Tin Lizzie Wineworks its U-Vint (make your own wine facility) of the Year for the second year in a row! We accomplished this amazing feat through the hard work of our winemakers who took the time to enter their wines in this competition and received 40 medals in total for their efforts! I’m thrilled that everyone who entered a wine in this year’s competition received a medal!
A total of 1,718 different wines, from winemakers throughout North America, in 48 US states, four Canadian provinces and five different countries, were judged in this competition. Each wine was rated by a team of trained wine judges and given a numerical score on a scale of 1-20. Gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded based on the score the wine received. The 2023 U-Vint of the Year award was determined by adding together the scores from all the wines made at that facility.
It’s an just incredible honor to receive the U-Vint of the Year award for the second time. From our little garage in Clarksville, our winemakers keep turning out amazing, world-class, award-winning wines, year after year! Thanks to all of you who took the time to enter this competition and thank you to everyone who has made wine with us over the past 15 years.
